Flu jab with social distancing

cartoon of nurse aiming a dart at a target on patient's arm.

I’m excited: at last I have an appointment (5.10pm) for a flu jab. With social distancing, how’s that gonna go? I hope it will be more thrilling than the usual tiny dot on the arm. Plus I get to walk across town and up a different hill, and for a legitimate purpose.

Is this what a Tinder date feels like?

I love the idea of the nurse using us as dart boards!. It would give medical professionals a chance to let off some steam. Hope they have a better way though.

Hope it’s not that painful as your picture implied.

I had huge issues getting it via my usual GP – ended up in the Mall at the chemist…outside the chemist on the usual rather busy walk way was a series of chairs, from the food hall, widely placed. The guy came out from the back with his dish…dabbed quickly on my upper arm, jabbed me quickly and then backed away. I had to sit for 10mins with exposed arm – then I wandered away from the deserted Mall….

      I can see it all…

  4. Strange times indeed when a flu jab is something to look forward to.
