Look out after lockdown

Lockdown is knocked out (for now) so let’s look up, look down, look out, look around. Be a scout.

Photo of cloudy sky
Sky. How does she do it? Every day a new outfit, every outfit glorgeous

Back in the wings of the world’s best gym
looming over water
leaning in to the wind
now a populated quarter.
Breathe in, Zoom out.

In the tarmac a manhole
yin yang
day and night
neenish tart

O my
cat’s clawing
for the sky
her aspirations hopelessly unfounded
and then there’s those brown boots
grounded
a proper downer.

You can’t blame a girl for trying. But the boots are a downer.

In a hurry. Too many things on my mind. Whenever I post photos only, you know that’s the case. But I’m still going to look up, look down, look out after lockdown. You too?

My big sister used to have an imaginary friend called Lorgeous. She was apparently both lovely and gorgeous. I think that’s the better word, but Jill holds the patent.

      1. It really doesn’t matter if it is patented (no word should be), it deserves to be heard, and used, far and wide!

      2. Rachel McAlpine says:

OK Peter. So you can use them too. Nice.

      3. Scrumbillitious!

  2. Boots have their uppers too.

  3. I plan to keep my eyes open now and after lockdown. After all, I wouldn’t want to miss one of your posts!

You mean there is life after all this has died down? Not here. Not in the foreseeable future.
