Poetry reading: 3 strong women
/

Tonight we have three poems about three generations of strong women: my grandmother Mim, my mother Celia, and my big sister Jill. These ones really are sort of true stories, mini-morsels from our family mythology. From my point of view, so of course, poetic licence rules, OK? This is your Friday Night poetry reading from my new book, How to Be Old. So settle down, feet up, and let me read to you.

I wonder who your role models are for your future life as an old person…
