I did. But now I feel guilty. I didn’t even ask my neighbor if her adorable one-year- old had dropped it.
It was a joke Rachel! However, little ones do like to pull off shoes and socks don’t they!
I know and so was mine a joke. That’s the worst thing about short comments. I should use more 🙂
Was it abandoned? Dropped ? or is it making a break to freedom, faking death now but waiting until dark to run off and find the sockmate soulmate it met in the store all those years ago?

Sad little sock! I see all sorts of belongings on our walking path that people carefully hang on trees for their owners to find.
And a lovely hand knitted one at that.

So sad to see a single sock or a single shoe, especially a childs one. What’s behind it I wonder. Seems like a wonderful basis for a story.
