A slight cold in lockdown

cartoon of woman with swollen glands before lockdown (nonchalant) and after lockdown (alarmed, ambulance coming)

How supersensitive a certain person might be about a slight cold in lockdown in the time of COVID-19! Certain barely noticeable symptoms have always signalled either a mild indisposition, or tiredness or stress. Now in lockdown they trigger all sorts of exciting activities. Time to update your will, record your funeral plans, sort out your digital legacy —but no, no need to call the ambulance for a slight cold, even in lockdown.

Think positive, rest as much as possible, enjoy good healthy food. I hope it just stays a mild cold and no hospitalisation needed, not needed at all! 🙂
