Cat reviews painting of girls pinning hems

A black cat contemplates a colourful paintng of four young girls pinning up each other's hems. A thought bubble contains 5 stars, which is the cat's review of the painting.

Ursula the cat reviews a charming painting of 4 young girls pinning up each other’s hems. (She has apparently decided to revive her career as feline influencer /art critic.) She believes she can see a black cat in the bottom left corner. No doubt that has influenced her to award the painting a 5 star review. If pressed, she would no doubt disparage the artist for her use of colour. (Cats see grey, green and blue best. The delicious dominant pink is wasted on Ursula.) Cat reviews of paintings are still a minority taste. Possibly because only humans can read them.

I dare not contradict such discernment since I cannot even locate the painted feline….

    1. Rachel McAlpine says:

Nor can I, Judi. Clearly thatโ€™s a character flaw on our part.

I need her around to challenge my opinions

And I’m sure that she rises to the challenge! Kitties are good at that.
